A Track Apart

Oh it's you again, 

It used to be easy to smile, even when our eyes haven't met, and when I can only see you in my mind,
We used to talk a lot, far from just a simple hi,
From cats to secrets, from designs to emotions,
From the leaves to the roots, you know a lot what others do not...

We were also so close that rumours started to fly,
Forgive me as I realised too late what had just fly by,
I was blinded by the colourful scenery far away,
failing to sense that the track dipped down into a monochromatic subway...

Time has passed, bringing along changes,
Another track has been laid, separating us apart,
We are on the same station, but not any more side by side,
We talk to others, but not to each other...

Honestly, I have lots of things to say, yet what came out is just a hi,
You replied with another hi while we averted each others' eyes,
You too seem to have something to say, but ended up just saying goodbye...

This may well be the best, only God knows,
I wished you well and just want to say,
i miss you...my 'friend'

It has been quite a long time since I last uploaded here. Thankfully I still have the account, I can still express things when I got inspired. The picture was taken at Rotterdam, I applied sponge filter on photoshop to get the watercolour effect. Actually spent a lot of time choosing which effect that I really wanted and best fit with the "letter" that I wrote above. Its just an imaginary letter, may or may not be influenced by real life situations.
